Philip D. Shrake, MD

Dr. Philip Shrake has spent the last 11 years as a radiation oncologist at RCOG’s Gwinnett County Radiation Oncology Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He has been practicing radiation oncology for over 16 years.

Dr. Shrake graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1989, before spending time on a medical mission at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital in Swaziland. Afterwards, he returned to the U.S. and completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Shrake worked in private practice in Kentucky and Texas before moving to Georgia and joining RCOG. “Gwinnett County Radiation Oncology Center provides patients in this area with access to the best cancer care available,” said Dr. Shrake. “I am delighted to be a member of a team fully committed to excellence in cancer treatment.”

Dr. Shrake is originally from Indiana. In his free time he enjoys tennis, golf and running.
